ABOUT LIGA ALIEF
Liga Alief is a community soccer league brought together by eight clubs and a growing number of members. Liga Alief was founded with a simple purpose: to give students and young athletes a place to play soccer without facing high costs or barriers. Our mission is to provide structure, competition, and opportunities for players who want to develop their skills both on and off the field. Liga Alief continues to expand with the goal of creating a space that encourages development, connection, and long term opportunities for students who deserve a chance to thrive.​
Originally founded in 2023 under the name Ferni Football Nations League (FFN) by Alexander Mendieta, Liga Alief was first run entirely by its founder driven by the effort to give students a place to play soccer without high costs. That commitment shaped the foundation of Liga Alief and set the standard for the mission it continues to follow today. ​
