About
Liga Alief
What is Liga Alief?
Liga Alief was originally founded in 2023 under the name FFN, Ferni Football Nations League. It was created and directed by Alexander Mendieta, who managed every part of the league during its early years. What began as a small community project has grown into a full league with more than two hundred seventy active players and ten current clubs. Across all seasons, Liga Alief has reached more than six hundred fifty players and twenty-four clubs. The league brings together students, families, and local athletes from across Alief and gives them a structured and competitive place to play.

Founder and Executive Director:
Alexander Mendieta serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Liga Alief. He established the league in 2023 and guided its expansion from a one person operation into a full community league. His work continues to shape the direction, structure, and long term vision of Liga Alief.

Our Mission:
Our mission is to create real opportunities for players to grow, compete, and stay connected to the game without facing a high paywall. We focus on development, access, and community, making sure every player has a fair chance to improve and represent Alief with pride.
